I painted the canvas with just regular white craft paint a couple of thin layers.
Mod podge over vinyl on canvas.
The idea is that it will prepare the surface of the canvas so that the vinyl will stick to it.
Overlapping the items is fine.
Place the next layer down and smooth.
I have tried all three but mod podge is what i use most often.
The third option is to use mod podge.
After the base portion of the design dries add a coat of mod podge to the top.
Apply mod podge to your entire canvas and let dry.
Step 4 brush additional mod podge over the decoupage items with the paintbrush to seal the canvas.
Take a wet cloth and lay it over the mod podge for 3 4 minutes.
To add the design to the canvas begin with the base piece and mod podge it to the canvas.
Apply the mod podge in a generous but even layer.
I ve heard mod podge will do the same thing.
Next up same type of vinyl adhesive vinyl on painted canvas.
After the adhesive is dry it will not feel sticky but it adds a coating to the canvas to get that vinyl to stick better.

This sheet is included with every order caption you will need to remove the mod podge and decals if changing designs.
